1984 – present. private psychotherapy practice for individuals and groups, first in London and now in Canterbury which currently includes a private psychotherapy group and working analytically with individuals. This includes the provision of supervision to individuals and work groups.
2010-present. Regular co-supervision with local colleague.
2008 – 2013. Part-time (0.1) consultant group-analytic psychotherapist with CNWL NHS Trust, London, conducting an outpatient group for older adults at St Charles Hospital, Ladbrooke Grove.
1999-2019. Part-time (0.4) NHS employment as a Principal Psychotherapist with the Kent Mental Health NHS Trust. This includes three group-analytic psychotherapy groups, assessing and working with individuals, providing supervision for other psychotherapists and at times consultation with other clinical staff from OT’s to Psychiatrists. Retired from NHS June 2019.
1988-2001 – Course Coordinator for the qualifying course in Group Psychotherapy at Goldsmiths College.
1988-1999. Conductor of the training large group for the professional training in Art Psychotherapy at Goldsmiths College for ten years.
1989-1994 – Groupwork Consultant (job-share) with Hounslow Social Services.
1992-1999 – regularly employed as an annual experiential group conductor with CAPP, LCP, WPF and other individual psychotherapy trainings in London. I also supervised weekly professional-service psychotherapy groups for the WPF, Kensington, London.
1999-2007 – Henderson Hospital, Sutton. Supervisor to the whole staff team in Sutton and staff group conductor to its Community Team based in Wandsworth.
